Short-term Studying
Boxes
The method of short-term studying uses the principle of a card index box.
This card index box per default contains the boxes:

However, you can create up to 9 boxes also of the type Right and Wrong.
If you increase the number of Wrong boxes, the more often you must repeat the cards (vocabulary), which you can remember only with difficulties. You repeat the other cards according to the number of Right boxes.
This option allows you to adjust your learning time.
Long-term Studying
Difficult words
After several wrong answers, a question&answer is considered difficult. These questions&answers can be practiced several times a day for easy memorizing without changing the long-term studying repetition cycle. By default, a question&answer is determined to be difficult if three incorrect answers occur consecutively. You can set the number of incorrect answers between two and nine.
Consideration of Short-term Studying
Short-term studying is evaluated to optimize the number of questions&answers during long-term studying.
Gestures
You can navigate between the questions and answers with swipe and tap gestures. Alternatively, you can use buttons.
Swipe for: Next
Choice with which swipe gesture the next or the preceding question is faded in.
Navigation
For the portrait and the landscape format of the screen the desired tap gestures can be selected and be arranged.
The following tap gestures are available:

Buttons

Reading Support Vocabulary Builder
The reading support can separated be adjusted for the studying variants memorize / difficult words or check.
Automatic Feed
If necessary, the text is scrolled (teleprompter).
Note
When studying you can also interactively adjust these times with the loudspeaker key.
Switch to Next
The answer or the next question is displayed after the adjusted waiting time.
Reading line
If the reading line reaches the line fixed by you, the text is scrolled after that.
Marks reading line
You can highlight the reading line so that it's readability is better.
Marks reading position
The reading position is in addition marked within the reading line.
Answer
The question can be displayed at the answer again. The reading line then can start with the question or answer.
Advice Flashcards
Activate
Dialogues for the advice are displayed.
Language Flashcards
Activate
Dialogues for language setting are displayed.
App for speech output
Select the app for the speech output the question&answer and the advice.
Select languages
Select all languages which you need. Only these languages are used subsequently.
Further settings
Transition between two cards
The duration of the transition can be fixed.
Margin
Setting the margin for studying.
Orientation of the screen
The format of the display (portrait or landscape) can be fixed for the training. The display remains unchanged at a turn of the phone.
Full Screen
The Android status bar is removed and the complete display is used for the questions and answers. Particularly at the landscape format this is more favourable.
Storage for backup, export and images
Save of the backup file on internal or external SD card.
Key Search
With the key Search you get per default a context-dependent help. The key can be covered or locked also with the normal search function. Activate the locking if you often touch on the search key my mistake.
Explanatory texts
You can adapt the user interface to your requirements with explanatory texts.
- Only explanatory texts required at the start of use can be closed with X.
- You can display other explanatory texts with > and hide them again with v.
- Explanation texts can be displayed or closed for the current page: ⁝ / Explanatory texts
With the ? in the action bar, the user guide for each page can also be called up.
Font and Color
You can change all colors and font sizes.
